Tianyingcun, nestled within Zhejiang Province, China (29.9197°N, 119.4139°E), occupies a geographically complex position within the eastern coastal plain. The city’s terrain is characterised by a gentle transition from the foothills of the surrounding mountains towards the flatter, more intensely cultivated plains closer to the coast. This location, approximately 20km inland, influences air quality significantly. Zhejiang is a major industrial hub, and while Tianyingcun itself is a smaller town with a population of around 26,095, it’s situated within a network of larger industrial centres and agricultural zones.
